002 Leadership Development - Level 4

 

Effective leadership is essential in any successful organisation. A successful manager must exemplify excellent leadership abilities on a daily basis.

 

Leaders have a clear idea of what they want to achieve and why, they communicate their vision and inspire others to strive towards a common goal.

 

Course content

 

Designed to ensure that clients' leadership potential is realised within the context of their organisation.

This 3/6-months leadership-training course content includes:

 

360-degree appraisal; Leadership Styles;

Political awareness;

Understanding emotional intelligence;

Influencing skills;

Networking / mentoring / shadowing opportunities;

Effective team working;

Motivation skills;

Six group-coaching sessions (Action earning Sets), and weekly one-to-one coaching sessions lasting 60 minutes for the full 6 months.

One to One Executive Coaching

One to One Body Mind Coaching  

 

One to One coaching has a key advantage as it enables Clients to focus on their selves and look at their own system (mind body) as a whole. We believe that one to one coaching increases Personal Production Capabilities as it makes client aware of firstly their four dimensional areas of need and secondly work out the gaps and options to fulfil them. It all starts with the body and the way we manage our energy…We have qualified 'body & mind' instructors working along side our Executive coaches. The sessions are offered either in the office or in the local Park.

 One to One weekly 60 minutes coaching sessions. The coach will come in the client's office or place of choice. We recommend a minimum of 12 sessions as a start.

003 Confidence and Transition Coaching - Level 4

 

Transition happens at two levels, at organisational level and individual level. There is often an expectation from the organisations that when individuals are promoted or change roles, they will "hit the ground running" that is, be effective from day one. The reality is that when people move from being a 'technical expert' to becoming a manager for example, their level of confidence and competence can be reduced initially.

 

Confidence and Transition Coaching is designed to reduce the length of time it takes for individuals to effectively move from the expert to manager role.

 

Course content

 

A one-day coaching skills workshop followed by 12 x 60-minute coaching sessions.

 

Who should attend?

 

Anyone that has recently changed roles/responsibilities at work. New managers who wish to develop a clear understanding of the responsibilities and challenges of their new role.

 


  

004 Emergency Coaching - Level 5

 

Emergency one to one coaching is a service that is unique to Coaching Express. We recognise that sometimes clients may wish to access their coach at times in between the weekly coaching sessions. Clients will receive coaching on the same day; we have two level of service available.

 

Who should have it?

 

Executives & Decision makers travelling in different time zones or working long hours.

 


  

005 Team building workshops - Level 4

 

The ability to draw together the diverse capabilities, skills and personal styles of each team member towards a common purpose is a fundamental part of organisational life.

 

This one-day team-building workshop is designed to maximise on the strengths of each member of the team and help all team members to work to their strengths to achieve the best results.

 

Course content

 

Team to identify, agree and create their team goal(s);

Team 'health check';

Understanding teams;

Clarifying roles;

Group coaching (Action Learning Sets);

One to one coaching for the Team leader.

 

Who should attend?

 

Team leaders and anyone responsible for co-ordinating groups of people to achieve a common goal. This workshop is also highly recommended for teams going through changes and needing to adjust to new objectives.

 


  

006 Save Time by Chairing Effective meetings - Level 4

 

Meetings take a lot of time and energy to prepare and run, they are a common feature of working life. Their effectiveness is sometimes reduced if they are poorly planned; outcomes are not clearly articulated and recorded.

 

This one-day workshop is designed for managers and executives wanting to make the best use of their time spent either attending or chairing meetings.

 

Course content

 

Individuals will learn how to assess whether a meeting is really required;

How to analyse meeting behaviour;

How to create clear objectives and desired outcome for the meeting;

How to lead and control a meeting; How to invite the right people to a meeting;

How to encourage participation and to ensure that any agreed actions are taken forward.

 

Shadowing opportunities and evaluation of real meetings will follow this workshop. Coaching will also be offered to ensure and maintain success

007 360-Degrees Appraisal - Level 1

 

Gaining an understanding of how others view one's behaviour is a good starting point for understanding performance gaps and creates opportunities to improve on areas for development and maximise on strengths.

 

360-degree appraisal is a useful development tool for individuals, as it helps to understand how others interpret behaviours.

 

Coaching Express is licensed to use this validated tool to skilfully assist clients to reinforce their effective behaviours and adjust and improve the ones that are viewed less favourably.

 

Who is it for?

 

360-degree appraisal is recommended to client who registers for the leadership development programme, and is followed by one to one coaching sessions to ensure that effective leadership behaviours are sustained.

 


  

008 Presentation Skills Training - Level 4

 

This interactive One-Day workshop is designed to help those who want to confidently present themselves, their business or their project in the best possible light and convince and influence other people in the work place. The one-day workshop will help clients to speak with confidence in a variety of situations including, presenting at meetings, conferences or presenting at interviews.

 

Course content

 

On the day, participants have an opportunity to make a presentation on film, and then critique their performance and make adjustments if required.

 

This programme helps clients to:

 

Understand the importance of preparation;

How to dress for success;

How to overcome and manage nerves;

Use language to influence others.

 

Following the workshop, coach(es) will support individuals to develop their skills to consistently give effective presentations through 6, weekly 60 minutes coaching sessions.

 

Who should attend?

 

Individuals at all levels of an organisation that want some useful techniques to master their presentation skills and increase their confidence.

 


  

009 Writing Reports that People Will Want to Read - Level 4

 

Report writing is a skill that helps individuals to ensure that their reports have the impact that they want, that others will not only want to read it, but will act on it. The ability to write effectively will improve performance, save time, improve working relationships and increase credibility.

 

This workshop will enable delegates to understand the different types of reports, to identify their target audience, clarify the purpose of their report and make best use of statistics, and make sure that reports will be read.

 

Course content

 

The importance of preparation and planning;

Understanding the context of the report;

Writing from the readers perspective;

Effective use of words and language;

Practical writing exercise.

 

This workshop is followed by opportunities to practice writing reports, create opportunities to present your report to your target audience. Following the workshop, coach(es) will support individuals to develop the skills to consistently write and present their reports through 6, weekly 60 minutes coaching sessions.

All managers who wish to improve their written communication. Anyone wishing to improve his or her report writing skills.
